First Look: Yosuga no Sora

Title: Yosuga no Sora Genre: Drama, Romance

Summary: The story is set in the distant mountain village of Okukozome-chou. Haruka Kazugano and his twin sister Sora have fond childhood memories of going to the village to visit their grandfather during their summer vacations. However, after losing their parents in an accident, the two must move in with their grandfather.

First Look: So what I thought was going to be a cheesy harem drama turned into a gag inducing harem drama. At first I was rather impressed by the anime, the art style was brilliant and the characters seemed really deep. I was expected quite the development. I also heard there is a certain mystery floating amongst the kids of this small village. That was all fine and dandy until things made a turn for the worst. At first I thought, “Hmm they’re going with a little fan service. That’s cool”. A little after that I thought, “The sister sure is attached to her brother… a lot”. And finally ending with, “Oh god what the hell is going on here?!”. That’s right folks, incest is going on here. Little innocent sister has some hardcore fantasies stirring in that head of hers. It was only later I discovered that this anime is based of an ergo game (go figure). I can’t STAND incest, and I will never be accepting of it. I’m terribly sorry. Even the whole step-sister thing doesn’t work. It is one thing to have hints toward incest, and another to have full blow tongue action. It wasn’t like the other girls were any more normal. They all suddenly fall for this dashing white haired mystery boy for NO REASON. Let us not forget the very intense lotion rubbing either. I don’t need to give this anime more than one episode to know I will hate it. Now I need to go scrub my brain of the images, excuse me.

Final statements: Dropped, dropped, and dropped. Did I mentioned that I am dropping this one?
