First Look: Ikkitousen Xtreme Xecutor

Summary: Academy clans wars escalate. Time to unleash the true powers of all the fighters. A powerful yet very well known enemy reappears, but fooled by only what the eye can catch, Hakufu doesn't notice the true and mighty enemies lurking on the shadows, ready to assault all that she treassures the most. She now has a disciple and she is summoned along many other fighters to a tournament. First Look: Before any of you get the wrong idea, I started to watch this anime because it happened to be on the front page of GoodAnime. After watching roughly three episodes I couldn't really take it anymore. I personally have something against heavy ecchi anime (when I say heavy I mean full frontal, unnecessary flashing, etc.).  The story line is very loosely tied together, and felt non-existent which was expected after15 minutes into the series. Although I didn't give a lot of time (3 episodes) to learn about the characters, they gave a rather bad first impression. The main character acted like a tough guy (or girl I guess) and had no sense of loyalty. She basically "pledged her allegiance " to any girl she saw kick some ass. The art style was decent, it wasn't eye catching but it did get the job done. The fight scenes didn't really leave me in a "whoa" state, which is kind of bad considering Ikkitousen Xtreme Xecutor is centered around fighting. I am assuming that they are saving the best fight choreography for the climax, but I can't guarantee that. The comedy was also pretty depressing. While watching I didn't even crack a smile. If I chuckled it was probably due to pity rather than enjoyment.

Final statements: If you are someone who enjoys senseless ecchi and girls fighting this is an anime you will probably pick up. Don't look for a good story because you probably wont find one. Even if there is a story I'm sure the viewer will be far too distracted from uniforms ripping and bras burning off from the "xtreme" fight moves. Sorry to say guys, even in requested I probably wont be picking up this anime again. If any of you would like to submit a final review for this anime at the end of the season please feel free too, but for me consider this a permanent drop.
