Sorry this is quite late since I’m quite busy with reviewing for the PT Licensure exam like I said on my Spring preview. Anyhow, these are my impressions on some of the series I manage to watch on my free time and as you can see from the title there will be a Part 2 so watch out for it. Btw, those impressions below are solely based on the first episode of the series I’ve watched. Now on to the first impressions after the jump.

Title: Sakamichi no Apollon
Genre: Slice of Life
Summary: The coming-of-age story of “love, friendship, and music” follows a naive boy and a scruffy boy in a provincial town in Nagasaki Prefecture in the late 1960s. In the early summer of 1966, Kaoru transfers to the local high school from Yokosuka. Thanks to his family’s nearly constant cycle of moving from town to town, Kaoru has only known school as a difficult place for readjusting every time. However, on his first day at this new school, he meets a boy and begins a new direction in life.
A whooping 44 shows this spring 2013 and I did not even included kiddie shows this time and it’s still a lot. Though I included Anime Mirai shows since some of them looked interesting.
I’m back (for now) and will be giving you guys Spring 2013 Anime Preview with the Notable Staff/Cast just like what I posted last year. I did my best to make it as complete as possible but I might have overlooked something so feel free to point it out to me and I’ll fix it ASAP. If you make it to the end I’ve posted my Top 5 picks this season. I hope you’ll find interesting shows this spring!

Title: The Pet Girl of Sakurasou (さくら荘のペットな彼女)
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Romance
Sorata is kicked out of his high-school dorms for keeping a cat, and moves into a small dorm called Sakurasou. It turns out that all the residents, in addition to being uncontrollable and weird, are outstanding in some way: a well-known animator, a scriptwriter, a programmer. A beautiful girl called Mashiro moves in who is an internationally known painter but is so devoted to art that she can’t even dress herself, and Sorata is given the job of looking after her. Through her and the other residents, he learns who he is and what he wants to do.
