Summary

Chidori3souskeWow Studio Pierrot is animating this with huge amount of CGI (though its not obvious in the PV I’ve provided but you could checkout the PVs in RC’s Summer Preview) and I find the movement of the characters quite awkward. As much as I love watching shows with ancient Japan/China setting but the awful CGI just made me cringe away. To tell you the truth I’m really interested in watching this series for its action and story too bad I don’t have enough time to check it out.

SidI was thinking about watching this one because it seemed to have a decent storyline. However, I watched the first episode (which I believe three have already been released) and decided against it. Chidori3souske WOOOOO ITS FINALLY HERE!! The continuation of my favorite series last winter is already here and I just can’t contain my excitement since it’s been a darn 3 mos wait. Finally we’ll see the reunion of the Jersey club girls but wait….why are Muginami and Lan fighting in the PV? It’ll definitely be interesting to know why two of our girls are fighting and hopefully the show would clear up the questions surrounding the Voces and the Flower of Rinne. To those who haven’t watched the first season yet, I highly recommend it to those people who loves watching  cute girls piloting robots, intergalactic battles and a very captivating story.

Summary

Chidori3souske The summary nor the PV didn’t get my attention but damn the animation and the girls are gorgeous (well its P.A. Works..I’ll be surprised if the animation is not gorgeous). I’ll probably try a couple of eps and here’s to hoping it’ll be better than Hanasaku Iroha since this show really reminds me of it. I guess it’ll be interesting since this is another anime original from P.A. Works.

Hikaru School life + music formula is rather generic. I guess I’d give this a few episodes try for my love of music.
Sid I am not a big fan of the summary because it reminds me of a specific anime I’m sure many of us watched before. However, I wont put a judgement tag on it and give it a watch. I’m a music junky so I’m sure this will be at least a good 2-3 episode shot.

Chidori3souske Ah another show based from an otome game and from experience such shows doesn’t end too well. I guess this one is worth a try specially if its in the hands of J.C. Staff and director Kon Chiaki it might be the surprise of the season. Hmmm I think this season I need to fill my hunger for bishies so yeah I’ll pick this up.

Hikaru Ohhh. A J.C. Staff Production. Sweet. That distinctly unique focus on dark shades in its art plus the upbeat theme song caught me. And with a reverse harem comes many bishies to choose from voiced by seasoned seiyuus. The first episode was definitely fast paced but at least it already established what the plot is all about. I’m just a bit disappointed at how Felicita is shown as a damsel in distress. I hope she shows some more spunk necessary to survive in the mafia world without being protected by her princely bodyguards.
Sid I’m liking the premise and I’m a fan of J.C. staff for their art. Most of their productions are good and I don’t think I’ve been completely against their shows. I’ll give this one a shot as well.

Summary

Chidori3souske Satelight and its mecha eye candy…and that’s a good reason to watch this show if you guys like mecha. The only thing that holds me back from watching this is its ecchiness but heck I could tolerate it if the mecha aspect of this show will be well thought out. Beautiful girls with top notch VAs to voice them and mecha battles….I’ll definitely pick this up but I wonder where the story of the series is headed, I guess its for me to watch and find out.

Hikaru Contrary to the light and comedic feel of Chihayafuru, Uta Koi looks like a more serious and dramatic take of the Hyakunin Isshu. I’m hoping that the historical interpretation wouldn’t be too boring though. The art looks interestingly similar to what might be drawn in actual karuta cards. Will be watching this.
Sid I like that everyone is reminded of Chihayafuru from this anime, and I think a lot of people plan to watch it for such a reason. I’m probably giving it a couple episodes but not really looking forward to this one.

Sid If this is supposed to be a weird romance that involves a guy trying to get with a girl who is in love with a ghost I’m going to assume the ending will be the ghost vanishing after it sees she is happy with this other dude. Or a crazy twist happens with the ghost tries to kill the poor sighted man and he runs for his life. I’m really hoping for the second one.

Summary
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate follows the protagonist Yuuki Oojima, who attends Private Takafuji Academy, a large school with over 6,000 students. Summary
In normal RPGs, a hero defeats the Satan king and the story ends. But what does the hero do after that? Ohtorizawa Akatsuki defeats the Satan king in the fantasy world of Alleyzard and returns to the real world. Hikaru What happens to a hero after he accomplished his objective? The attempt to answer this question and make it the beginning rather than the ending of a story is interesting. I’ll give this a try.
Sid This seems like it could be a pretty good anime. And it is taking a new view on the standard hero. It seems like it might actually be pretty good. So I’ll give it a few episodes as well.

Hikaru How will the humans stand up against the gods? The animation isn’t as excellent as we see in recent titles but battle scenes are good enough. Since this is a harem I’m not expecting too much from the plot but I’ll still give this a chance.
Sid More harems eh? I’m not a fan of comedy harems and the trailer didn’t look all that great on YouTube. I’ll give it a couple episodes before I decide. But most likely I’ll drop it if it is nothing more than average.

Sid I’m not really sure if this one will be that great because it seems kind of kiddy from the trailer. Still that could just be the art style and nothing more. I don’t want to judge a book by its cover like I have in the past so I’ll give it a shot.

Hikaru This looks more promising than Accel World. The art/animation might not be on the same level yet but the lead character Kirito is definitely more likable than Accel World’s Haru. Can’t help comparing the two series since they had the same light novel author. I haven’t read this but it certainly is on my watch list.
Sid The first line of the summary is what caught my attention. I’m assuming that means the anime will have actual deaths. Strangely enough that is what makes an anime so great to me. It is pretty neat not knowing who will die and who will. Then again, sometimes it is really predictable. I’ll keep this one on watch for the season.

Hikaru The art has a K-On feel to it, especially since this is set within a school and a club as well. The switching of bodies can be pretty interesting if taken in the right direction. I have high hopes for this one.
Sid A body switching anime that is also a comedy? This can be either really good or really bad. I’m not going to put much into the anime but since the plot seems rather interesting I’ll give it a few episodes before I make my decision.

Sid I’m down for a romantic comedy so I’ll give this one a go. It might actually turn out to be pretty good. I’m a bit tired of Sengoku period anime, but that’s pretty much the only thing I’m against.
