Though I’m not a fan of the horror genre, I won’t be watching any more after this. There was too much gore for me. Even more than in BloodC. And the difference was, in BloodC, more blood came from the monsters. In Another, it was from regular humans. Students at that. And I will never see an umbrella in the same way again thanks to Another.

The build-up for a horror title was good for two reasons: the right shots and the BGM. From the trailer alone, the music was terrifyingly creepy it sent shivers down my spine.

Like Sid said, both characters and the story itself weren’t good and Another can’t be saved with animation and music alone. But I still have to say that the title was a brilliant fit for the entire thing. You have to see it though in order to understand its significance.
